As an unknown prior to the event, Abdullah earned every bit of praise he received during and after the day. The running back first started making waves in the open-field tackling drill in which he had limited space to try to make a linebacker miss and get upfield. Not only was Abdullah able to win almost all of his reps but often he wasn't even touched by a defender. His feet and change of direction were spectacular. With that performance under his belt, Abdullah also showed toughness with great pass-blocking ability in the pass-protection one-on-ones. He also had the ability to make catches out of the backfield. Within a very talented running back group, Abdullah ran away with the MVP award as the clear top performer.
